Cruises that could come in Seville

Currently there are more than 70 cruise ships could get to Seville for its technical features, 30 of them with more than 150 meters long.

Thanks to the construction of the new lock Puerta del Mar , dear readers today I can say that more than 70 cruise ships could enter the port of Seville , of these vessels, 30 have more than 150 meters long, some even rub the 200m or exceed it. These boats could reach the dock of Delights , are relatively small compared to those who reach seaports such as Barcelona , Valencia and Malaga , but bear in mind that Sevilla has a river port and to reach the need to travel 80 km. or so from the ship enters the mouth of the Guadalquivir river . And while the Port of Seville made one of the greatest engineering works in Europe in recent years, which is the lock , with dimensions of 280 meters long , 39 meters wide and 11 meters deep. This work can not work 100 % for not being on the supplements work , talk about the deepening dredging the river, by which , while respecting the environment and taking all appropriate measures in order to cause the least environmental impact possible and preserve the flora and fauna of the Guadalquivir river , it would significantly increase the depth and the breadth of the channel. In this way and according to studies by the port , Sevilla could access 90% of the world fleet.
If this work be carried out could see cruise ships in Sevilla and consequently the ticket prices and the cost of bringing a boat to the city would lower , thus activating the city 's economy .

But leaving aside , which could become the port of Seville , let's focus on the cruise ships that could reach the spring of Delights and does not. Currently 30 cruises could go over 150 meters in length , some with even 200 meters and more , but what really determines the rise of the river is the draft , for which many ships can not trace it, it must be said that it is only in some areas where shallow Guadalquivir because others get to have much depth. Well, among the ships that could potentially find for example: Thomson Majesty , the Aida Cara, the Silver Shadow , the Bahamas Celebration , among many others. So from Cruise in Seville encourage shipowners to bet on this beautiful city which has a lot of cultural heritage and charming places to offer to tourists.

Below you can see a table that details each of the 30 boats, with their actions and passage. And some pictures taken from the Internet to give you an idea of these boats could get to Seville and do not.
